Objective: The purpose of this research is to explain the improvement of active defense measures of Islamic Republic of Iran army aviation bases against the threat of micro aerial vehicles.
Method: This research is functional type and descriptive method with a mixed approach. In this research, the necessary information and data has been collected from interviewing with 10 experts related to the subject, studying and reviewing documents, books and articles and submitting a questionnaire to 42 people from staff officers of the G2, G3 and G4 as well as the commanders of military communications, engineering and air defense artillery units in the form of full count. In this research, to measure the content validity of the questionnaire, the content validity ratio index (CVR) was used. Also, for the reliability of the questionnaire, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used by means of SPSS software, and the obtained coefficient of 0.934 indicates its reliability.
Conclusion: The result of the descriptive analysis of this research shows the fact that 94% of the people of the sample community believe that each of the mentioned components can improve the active defense measures of I.R.I army aviation bases against the threat of micro aerial vehicles and their importance has been considered very high according to the obtained average, i.e. 4.75. According to the obtained results, the Identification component has the highest priority among the proposed components from the audience's point of view.
