Objective: The research was conducted with the purpose of identifying and evaluating the cultural and social components in supporting the management of the Hormozgan operation area.
Methodology: The implementation method of this research is descriptive, by applied type, which is done with a qualitativeapproach.
12 experts who were responsible in the cultural and social fields or major military units of Hormozgan province, were selected for interviews to theoretical saturation by purposeful sampling. The research data was collected using documents, interviews and field observations, then categories, indicators, components and dimensions were extracted using ATLAS.ti software. With the help of this software, content analysis was done in each dimension and research results were obtained based on that.
Findings: The family is the most important factor in supporting the management of the Hormozgan operation area that has a significant difference with other factors; In the next rank is employment, healthcare and economy; Immigrants, tribes and national traditions also have a great influence.
Conclusion: Considering the social and cultural ties, the interaction of religions in the province has been accompanied by minimal friction and tension; Authentic social and cultural customs and family strictness are social strengths in the region. On the other hand, the heavy development of urban areas compared to rural areas has increased migration from villages to cities. It is necessary to take advantage of the capacities of the province to carry out development and internal defense measures, especially in villages and coastal areas.
