Objective: Identification of effective economic factors in supporting the Hormozgan operation scene
Method: The research method is descriptive. This type of research is applied using a qualitative approach. The statistical population for the interview in this research was 7 experts familiar with the research topic responsible for the economic fields or major military units of Hormozgan province, which continued through the targeted method of selection and interview until reaching theoretical saturation. The research data was collected using the tools of document study, interview, and field observation, and then content analysis and coding were done on the documents. After categorizing, processing, and judging the data, the dimensions of the components and items were calculated.
Findings: To carry out any military operation as well as sustain in the operation scene, several factors such as economic, political, and cultural support are needed. Hormozgan Theater of Operations is of great importance in economic support of Hormozgan Theater due to the strategic location of the Strait of Hormoz and the rich energy resources and important marine and infrastructure facilities.
Conclusion: Based on the research, the effective factors in the economic support of the Hormozgan operation scene, in the form of three main components, including the capacity of communication lines and port and airport infrastructures (9 items), the capability and capacity of the food and processing industries (8 items) and the capacity Petrochemical, oil, gas, and mining industries (8 items)
