The Internet of Things is one of the emerging and disruptive technologies of cyberspace that has caused extensive and profound changes in all areas of society. This technology has provided the ability to send and receive data between objects through communication networks and has been the source of dramatic changes in various fields, including the military. The introduction of IoT technology into the military sector has created new and amazing capabilities in this field and has greatly increased the efficiency of the defense sector. Utilizing this technology also brings challenges, of which security is the most important. Therefore, identifying the threats posed by this emerging technology is a very vital and readable issue. The purpose of this study is to investigate the threats of using IoT in the military field and the main question of the research is what threats will the military field face with the use of IoT technology? The research method in this article is descriptive (case) and with a mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative), quantitatively in the form of descriptive statistics and using statistical and qualitative methods by content analysis. The statistical population of this study includes 7 experts and experts in the field of cyber and 80 managers and commanders of defense systems in the ranks of the ranks and staff with master's and higher education. The results of this study show that the seizure, destruction and manipulation of military systems, intrusion through microprocessors, data theft, data destruction, information capture, account theft, denial of service, threat to radio IDs and threats to employee privacy are the most important threats to the use of the Internet of Things. It is in a military environment.
