Goals:Security are one of the most essential needs of individuals, groups,society and any nation, without which it will be difficult to survive.According to Imam Ali the well- being of people's lives is provided in the shadow of securityand the government and the people must seek to provide it. Now considering the importance of the concept of security, the purpose of this research is to investigate the role of military forces in providing security from the perspective of Imam Ali.
Methodology:current research is applied research and in terms of descriptive method with a mixed approach. The data collection method is the field and library method, the overall statistical population of the research is 30 people, which is estimated in a targeted manner. The sample size corresponds to the statistical population and this research answers the question of what role do the military forces play in providing security from the perspective of Imam Ali?
Findings: Security is one of the most essential needs of the society in charge of relative freedom from threats and attacks. Ensuring security is always one of the most important issues in any system, which does not decrease in importance with the passage of time. it also increases the motivation of the governments to pay more attention to these forces.
Conclution: Based on the documents and the review of sources it is concluded that Imam ali considered important components necessary for the establishment of security which is the most important use of military forces.
