Abstract
The growth and development of cyberspace and advances in information technology have changed the nature of conflicts by making them more complex. Almost universal access to the virtual environment has provided the opportunity to conduct battles online that affect both physical realms, such as computer systems and cognitive realms, that is, people''''s attitudes and beliefs. The first represents cyber warfare and the second represents a new area of warfare called social media warfare. Combined warfare, on the other hand, is a new approach to warfare that combines classic warfare with cyber and intelligence battles. The line between cyber warfare and information warfare is blurring with the advent of social media. What is certain is that by using social media as a tool in war, both physical and cognitive domains can be affected simultaneously and more important results can be achieved. In this article, we will look at how to use social media in hybrid warfare and how to arm social networks, and how to use social media in military operations, including intelligence gathering, targeting, indoctrination and psychological warfare, cyber operations, defense and command, and We will explain the control.
