Abstract
Objective: This study aimed to develop and prioritize strategies for enhancing maintenance and repair management in the Islamic Republic of Iran Army and to analyze influential internal factors.
Methodology: This applied research employed a descriptive-analytical method with a mixed-methods approach (qualitative and quantitative). The statistical population consisted of 93 experts and specialists selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires, library studies, and interviews, and were analyzed using the SWOT model and QSPM matrix.
Findings: Data analysis revealed that the strategic position of the army's maintenance and repair system falls within the WT (Weakness-Threat) quadrant. Among the nine developed strategies, "enhancing technical skills using modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things" received the highest priority with a score of 5.79.
Conclusion: Enhancing maintenance and repair management in the army requires a three-dimensional transformation focusing on advanced technologies, strengthening internal capabilities and resilience, and empowering human resources. The simultaneous implementation of these strategies through short-term and long-term operational plans enables the transition to an intelligent and sustainable system.
