Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of the research is to look at the role of creativity and technology in Nadaja, which was able to maintain maritime sovereignty during 8 years of sacred defense at sea based on specialized military knowledge, experiences gained by gaining awareness and alertness, and creativity by applying naval military combat power. Provide and maintain the holy defense in the sea for eight years.
Methodology: This research is of applied type and analytical-descriptive method, using existing documents and interviews with 5 experts of Nadaja veterans during the holy defense period; The method of data analysis has been done using the seven-step method of Claysey.
Findings: Despite the embargo of equipment and sensitive technical parts and ammunition of weapon systems to maintain maritime sovereignty against the Iraqi Baath regime in the Persian Gulf, Nadaja was able to perform well with creativity and indigenous technology during the holy defense era.
Conclusion: The results of the research showed that Nadaja has been successful in playing its role in the eight years of holy defense with creativity and creating innovative methods and making related equipment and supporting them.
