In a way, today this reading of power is used against hard power (military power and weapons) which is accompanied by coercion and violence. Recently, the field of international relations has been strongly influenced by cultural and identity factors. Therefore, gaining international prestige and influence in public opinion, in other words, access to soft power, is one of the important and at the same time unspecified goals of countries' diplomacy in the field of international politics. , Cultural facilities, opportunities and capacities of each country are pursued in different ways and mechanisms. On the other hand, the acquisition and acquisition of power in the new world follows different patterns compared to the past, and in a way, has introduced new variables for the production and exercise of power as well as the analysis of international issues. Therefore, this article seeks to examine the position and role of cultural power in the foreign policy of countries and its impact on global developments, especially after the events of September 11. از فرهنگ در قاموس و عرف سیاست بین‌الملل به‌عنوان قدرت نرم یاد می‌شود؛ چراکه قدرت نرم، توانایی شکل‌دهی به ترجیحات دیگران است و جنس آن از نوع اقناع است. به‌نحوی‌که امروزه این قرائت از قدرت در مقابل قدرت سخت (قدرت نظامی و تسلیحاتی) که توأم با اجبار و خشونت است به کار می‌رود. اخیراً عرصه روابط بین‌الملل، به شدت، تحت تأثیر عوامل فرهنگی و هویتی قرار دارد. ازاین‌رو، کسب وجهه و اعتبار بین‌المللی و نفوذ در افکار عمومی و به عبارتی، دسترسی به قدرت نرم، از جمله اهداف مهم و در عین حال، تصریح نشده دیپلماسی کشورها در حوزه‌ی سیاست بین‌الملل است که این مهم، به تناسب موقعیت، جایگاه، امکانات، فرصت‌ها و ظرفیت‌های فرهنگی هر کشور به شیوه‌ها و مکانیسم‌های مختلف تعقیب می‌گردد. از سویی، قدرت‌یابی و کسب و تولید قدرت در دنیای جدید در مقایسه باگذشته از الگوهای متفاوتی پیروی می‌کند و به نوعی، متغیرهای جدیدی را جهت تولید و اعمال قدرت و نیز تحلیل مسائل بین‌المللی، وارد حوزه روابط بین‌الملل نموده است. ازاین‌رو، این مقاله در صدد بررسی جایگاه و نقش قدرت فرهنگی در سیاست خارجی کشورها و تأثیر آن بر روند تحولات جهانی، به ویژه پس از حادثه یازده سپتامبر است. https://www.qjws.ir/article_246715_46e4c747d3b68c393342f8caeb0d8939.pdf
